Meet Brittany Young

Brittany Young, RTT

Radiation Therapist

Brittany is a Radiation Therapist. She plays a hands-on role in all aspects of your radiation treatment process beginning with the CT scan until the last treatment is done. She finds great joy in the opportunity to comfort, encourage, distract and ease the minds of everyone during each step of their cancer journey. Brittany graduated from Cambridge College of Allied Health and Technology completed a two year long internship at various locations including Atlanta Oncology Associates's clinics of Greensboro, Midtown, and Alpharetta. She is certified by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.

Originally from Montgomery, AL, Brittany is a 6-year veteran of the Unites States Air Force. During her enlistment, she travelled to Southwest Asia, where she spent a total of 12 months. She finds purpose in connecting with her patients and their families, and encouraging them throughout their journeys. In her time off, Brittany enjoys spending time with her daughter, Kaliyah. She also enjoys hobbies such as dance and Aerial fitness.
